At PreNeed Advisory, LLC (“PNA”), your privacy is important to us. In the course of providing investment advisory services, we collect and maintain certain personal information about you, and we choose how we might share that personal information. Federal law gives you the right to limit some, but not all, sharing. This notice describes the types of information we collect, how we use and share that information, and the steps we take to protect your privacy. Please read this notice carefully to understand what we do.
Information We Collect
We collect personal information about you in connection with providing investment advisory services and maintaining your account. This information may include:
- Identifying details such as your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
- Social Security number, date of birth, and other identifiers;
- Financial information, including income, net worth, investment holdings, and transaction history;
- Account information such as balances, trading activity, and custodial account data;
- Information automatically collected from the Internet or other network activity regarding your interaction with our websites; and
- Any other information you provide to us in the course of our relationship.
We collect this information directly from you, from your account custodian or broker-dealer, and from other sources that help us open and maintain your account or execute your investment instructions.
How We Use and Share Information
We use your personal information to provide investment advisory and related services, to maintain your account, and to comply with legal and regulatory obligations. This includes processing transactions, providing account reports, communicating with you, and responding to regulatory or court-ordered requests.
All financial companies need to share clients’ personal information to run their everyday business. We will share, as necessary, your information: (1) to service providers in order to establish and maintain your accounts and process transactions (i.e., broker-dealer, account custodian, record keeper, proxy management service provider, insurance company, etc.); (2) as required to do so by judicial or regulatory process; or (3) as otherwise permitted to do so in accordance with applicable federal and/or state privacy regulations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with unaffiliated companies for marketing purposes. We also do not share it with affiliates for their own business purposes.
However, we may share your personal information with unaffiliated third-party service providers that assist us in conducting our everyday business. These may include:
- The broker-dealer or custodian that executes and safeguards your transactions and assets;
- Technology vendors that provide portfolio management or recordkeeping systems;
- Auditors, consultants, or attorneys who support our operations; and
- Other service providers who perform administrative or compliance functions on our behalf.
When you are no longer our client, we continue to maintain your information in accordance with this Privacy Notice.
How We Protect Your Information
We maintain written policies and procedures reasonably designed to safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These include:
- Physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality and integrity of client records;
- Access controls and authentication procedures restricting information to personnel who need it to perform their duties;
- Encryption, secure networks, and monitoring systems to help prevent unauthorized access; and
- Procedures for the proper disposal of records containing personal information.
Your Rights and Choices
Federal law allows you to limit certain types of information sharing, such as for affiliate marketing or non-affiliate marketing purposes. Because PNA does not share information in these ways, no action is required on your part to limit our sharing.
You may, however, contact us at any time with questions about our privacy practices or to request additional information about how your data is maintained.
State Privacy Rights
If you reside in a state that provides additional privacy protections (such as California, Vermont, or others), we will comply with the applicable state laws and provide any required notices or rights under those laws.
